• Code of Ethics​​

I am a member of the COSRT (College of Sexual and relationship Therapists) and I abide by COSRT’s Good Therapy Code of Ethics And Practice.

• Location

I am based in the UK and I am able to work either face to face or online. I use the Zoom platform to conduct online sessions.​

​

• Confidentiality

All work is confidential. All notes and details taken are stored electronically with password protected files and locations. Any notes relating to the therapy work will refer to people by their initials, to minimise any chance of recognition.​

• Sessions' length and fees

I offer a 30 minutes session, free of charge, for a preliminary contact. No details or specifics will be discussed. This is an opportunity to gauge what brings you to therapy and if we both feel comfortable working together.

I offer therapy and also provide space for exploration questions which may feel embarrassing. Sometimes, all that is needed is education or information about aspects of sex and relationships.

1 off session (60 minutes) to explore a specific topic - £50

​

Therapeutic work:

​

Individuals:

An assessment session is 60 minutes and is charged £90.

Any session outside of the assessment is 50 minutes and is charged £80.

​

2 or more people:

An assessment session is 60 minutes and is charged £120.

Any session outside of the assessment is 50 minutes and is charged £100.

​

Fees are reviewed annually, effective from 1st of April, and a minimum of 6 weeks’ notice will be given for any changes in fees.

• Frequency

It is standard practice to have a weekly session, usually on the same day, at the same time. However, I understand that this may not be what is needed. I can offer some flexibility on date and time (depending on availability) and the appropriate frequency of sessions will be discussed and adjusted following a joint agreement.

• Payment

Payment is to be made in advance of the session.

​

• Cancellation policy

I would appreciate as much notice as possible in the event of cancellation as this would allow me to offer the time slot to another client if needed. Other than in exceptional circumstances, the full fee remains payable if a session is cancelled within 24 hours of the session date.

• Contact between session

It is not appropriate for contact to be made outside of the sessions, in order to ensure that the therapeutic work remains contained and professional. Contact is only permitted to amend the date and time of a session.

• Social Media

Please be advised that your therapist is not able to accept any request to connect on social media, as it is contrary to COSRT Codes of Ethics, and creates confusion as to the nature of your relationship.​
